Nintendogs Best Friends
Let me tell you what I think of this game. I actually received this last Christmas but got tied up with other games, that I only got a chance to play it recently.
Graphics: 8 out of 10
You can count on the game’s graphics to meet the requirements of the game and a whole lot more.
Sounds: 9 out of 10
I have no issues with the sounds. The dog’s barking can be rather strange but other than that, it’s all good. The music doesn’t have many songs that become repetitive, and what’s even great is that every tournament has a different song. As you progress in ranking, there are also changes in songs.
Gameplay: 8 out of 10
You begin the game by going to the kennel and then buy a dog, from 6 breeds. Then you will be asked to give your dog a name, and then you will teach your dog how to sit. You will get the dog to sit and then you will say “sit” using the mic. You will need to say it exactly in a way that the dog will be able to understand.
As soon as you have achieved that, you can then go to the local pet store if you like and buy stuff, or you can change the look of your room, join tournaments, and walk your dog. It’s up to you. You may also earn trainer points, which will help you unlock things that can enable you to buy items for your dog.
The issue with Nintendogs is that there is no way to beat it in just 2 days. Well, in fact, you cannot beat it at all, which is why this game is considered slow-paced. Might not be suitable for gamers who are into fast-paced games.
I rate this game an 8 out of 10, which is already high based on my own standards. However, take note that such rating will only apply for certain people and not for all. Again, if you are into games that are slow-paced and long-lasting, this game is perfect for you. But people who like action-packed stuff might want to find other games to play with.
